PLEASE NOTE:
All ratings for FLEMINGTON are for DEAD track. Rail out 7m. The track has played very well (which has hurt in straight races). There is rain about and if track did cut-up, runners will surely be off the rail espeially later. Watch/ Monitor as always.
At RANDWICK ratings are for DEAD track. Rail is 3m (1000m-to-WP). At the last meeting here on-pacers won everything. Expect that will even itself out into this meeting. Watch and monitor here too...
BET OF THE DAY (Melbourne)
FLEMINGTON - Race 5 No.4 - DRUMBEATS - Good effort 1st-up chasing Montana Flyer on wet ground then came wide, bumped with Caymans and kept closing in a top effort at Caulfield. Dr Doute's came through that race to win the Carbine Stks Saturday and Caymans himself ran super (never on track) also. Back a notch, drawn ideally, peaks 3rd-up. Keen today.
BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)
RANDWICK - Race 8 No.6 - WALKING OR DANCING - Looks ready to win off two terrific runs this time in. Was held-up then charged late fresh then covered ground and just missed Voice Commander 2nd-up (he ran Flemington today). This guy won well 3rd-up last prep and 1400m is his best trip.
