Wolfmother won a 2007 Grammy Award in America for the best hard rock performance with their hit 'Woman'.. beating some of the biggest giants of hard rock, such as Tool, System of a Down and Nine Inch Nails. Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale said "We're blown away.. this doesn't happen very often at all, in Australia, to any band.. a lot of bands don't even get the opportunity to tour the U.S. It's too expensive to come out here. We had other bands tell us how incredible it was to do well here.. we were in a bus in the middle of nowhere when we were nominated. This is an experience. It's a journey our music took us on. And now that we won, it's brilliant."

::Wolfmother’s self-titled debut EP “Wolfmother” was released in September 2004 through Modular Recordings::

::Wolfmothers big early appearances included the Homebake and Big Day Out concerts::

::The Wolfmother EP reached #35 in the ARIA singles chart and radio play on Triple J selling more than 10,000 copies::

::In 2005 Wolfmother headed to L.A. and rented an old Hollywood recording studio called Cherokee for their rehearsal space, which also hosted Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”  sessions.. so they could prepare to record their debut album with Dave Sardy, the producer of  Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis and Marilyn Manson.. the album was released October 2005 and entered the Australian Charts at #3.. going twice platinum::

::Wolfmother released a debut double A-side single "Mind's Eye / Woman" debuting at #29 on the Australian charts::

::Wolfmother won the 2005 Triple J Best Australian Album Award and had six songs in the 2005 Triple J Hottest 100 breaking the five song record held by Powderfinger, Silverchair, Queens of the Stone Age and The White Stripes.
Rolling Stone magazine listed Wolfmother as one of "Top 10 Bands to Watch 2006"::

::In January 2006 Wolfmother released "White Unicorn" their second Australian single. From April to June 2006 they toured USA performing at the SXSW festival.. Coachella.. Sasquatch Music Festival.. Oxegen festival and the Roskilde Festival::

::Wolfmother song "Love Train" was used on a Apple iPod advertisements.. "Vagabond" appeared on an Australian Optus commercial.. "Dimension" is used in the Tourgasm HBO series and "Woman" is used for the Driving Force reality TV show::

::Wolfmother performed several songs on the 2006 MTV Movie Awards::
