An Australian actress and musician best known for her role of Dani Sutherland on the hit TV series Home and Away.

::Tammin Sursok was born on the 19th August 1983 in Johannesburg South Africa.

::Tammin grew up in an acting and musical household, her mother, Julie Sursok, won a Springbok award for Best New Female Vocalist.t and guitarist.

::Tammin's father is a marketing executive.. she also has a sister Michelle and a brother Sean.

::Tammin started dancing at the age of six and was involved in the Sydney Youth Musical Theatre where she was involved in acting and music.. Tammin received a High Distinction at Trinity Speech and Drama, and also attended Ravenswood School for Girls in Gordon, Sydney.

::Tammin started her role as Dani Sutherland on Home and Away in 2000, and won a Logie Award for Best New Female Talent in 2001.. and also received the Australian Centenary Medal by the Government of Australia for her acting work. She left Home and Away in 2004 to launch her musical career.

::Tammin loves animals, and has 1 pet Parrot and 2 dogs, Smudge and Harry.

::Tammin signed with the Gersh agency in Los Angeles when she moved to USA in February 2006 to pursue an acting career.

::Tammin's acting career includes Beyond 2000 (TV series) in 1988.. Home And Away (TV series) as "Dani Sutherland" 2000-2004.. and Aquamarine (Movie) as "Majorie" in 2006.

::Tammin signed with Sony Music Australia in January 2004 (Sony Music Australia merged with BMG to form Sony BMG) .. she has recorded material in Los Angeles, London and Stockholm with leading producers.. her debut single "Pointless Relationship" was produced by A-Side Productions, and reached number 5 in the ARIA charts and stayed in the ARIA Top forty for 15 weeks.

::Tammin's debut album Whatever Will Be was released in May 2005, debuting at No.13.
