David Chappelle began his career in Washington, DC at the age of 14. Dave's mother was an ordained Unitarian minister who chaperoned him to gigs..

Dave made his feature film debut in Mel Brooks' "Robin Hood: Men In Tights..  in 1996 "The Nutty Professor" with Eddie Murphy... and smash hit "Con Air" as Pinball Parker with Nicolas Cage.

Chappelle's first major starring role was in "Half Baked," which he also co-wrote. 

 

Dave's most recent movie was the Universal Pictures feature "Undercover Brother" with Eddie Griffin and Denise Richards.  

David Chappelle currently lives in Ohio with his wife and child.
